Lotus Sutra Exhibition Held in Mumbai, India

From September 17-21, 2010, the Institute of Oriental Philosophy (IOP) and Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) co-organized the exhibition “The Lotus Sutra–A Message of Peace and Harmonious Coexistence” held at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai, India. This exhibition was the sixth exhibition in five cities in India.

At the opening ceremony there were 470 BSG members and guests including Dr. Indu Shahani, principal of H. R. College of Commerce and Economics and Dr. Saryu V.Doshi, Art Historian and Honorary Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art. One of the participants commented that he was moved by the philosophy of the Lotus Sutra that sheds light on each person and emphasizes the limitless potential of each individual.
